Please come see my new spirits and holiday ornaments at the Carrboro Bazaars this season. I will be there in November and December.

Thanks to the Rotary Club and the good people of Pittsboro for holding such a great street festival! The bands were excellent! I was right behind the trike races (adult size) which were a lot of fun to watch especially when the Pittsboro police took on the sheriff's department!

My Week At

John C Campbell Folkschool!

Please head over to my artist's blog to learn more about my time at John C. Campbell Folkschool. I took a class in large animal sculpture. Meet my bear and follow his progress as he dries and (eventually) gets fired!

So, my bear finally dried for six weeks and we loaded his sweet little butt in the kiln. But during firing, his left haunch popped off. I was so sad for him! I used Bisque Fix to reattach the leg and back into the kiln he went. He is now waiting to be glazed. So young for a "hip replacement" but he seems to be doing well. All he wants to do now is come home and hibernate!
